What Does the Badge Mean for Trades?

Being Borough Verified means:

• You’ve secured one of only 10 listing slots in your borough

• You’ve shown proof of reputation (e.g. Google reviews, website, or business registration)

• You’ve paid the £99/quarter fee to remain live and visible

It also unlocks:

• A Verified badge on your profile

• Priority placement on your trade’s homepage

• Access to monthly visibility reports

Can Anyone Buy the Badge?

No. You must first be listed. 

We only approve businesses that:

• Operate locally in the borough

• Have a public track record (reviews, photos, or a site)

• Respond promptly and reliably

Once listed, you’ll receive an email offering the Verified slot — if available.

How Do I Get Verified?

If you're already listed on one of our sites and want to become Borough Verified:

1. Email hello@boroughtrades.com

2. Include:

   • Your business name and borough

   • A public link to your reviews or website

3. If you qualify, we’ll send a secure link to activate your badge
